Introduction to Environmental Science and Sustainability
This course allowed me to really understand how does mother nature works. How important it is for us to take care of it, but not only because someone tell us to do so, but because I was able to learn different reactions between human beings and the environment. Some punctual aspects that we tackled in the class were: nutrient cycling, pollution, desertification, climate change, energy, water resources, biodiversity loss, among others.

Religion: Analysis & interpretation
I must say that this was one of the most fun classes I have taken and also one where I learned a lot and expanded my way of thinking. Coming from a catholic education background, I had many misunderstandings from different religions in the world. After this, I came to my own conclusion that there is only one God, the only difference is that we worship him in many different ways, and that is perfectly fine.

Theatre Appreciation
I find this class was very interesting because it taught me to see art in general in a different way. It taught me to appreciate it. I believe it is important because after I was part of this class, I changed the way I see theatre, series and movies. It is not a mediocre way. I like not only to enjoy what I am watching, but else think about what was the process for the actors, how the script was written, and how the whole piece was put together.

History of world civilization
One of my favorite classes in my life. It was a gift to learn so much about our past. This allowed me to understand many things that are currently happening and expect some other in the near future. I learned that one of the best ways to learn history is not only through the books, but also through movies and series. The professor was constantly requiring us to watch specific movie tapes to gain a better understanding.
